About

Female, born in Chennai, living in the US, married with 2 kids who drive me crazy and I’m crazy about. Loving, tolerant  husband puts up with my many quirks.  Love reading, gardening, big fan of 60s Tamil movies especially ‘vadhiyar’ padam, Raja Raja Chola and Thanjavur kovil trivia junkie (really, who killed Aditya K?), Obama, P Susheela, Jesudas, old songs in general, art and painting, singing, hanging out with friends.

Love to write for the sake of writing. If I don’t write every so often, I think my head will explode (like Vikramaditya’s would have if he didn’t answer Betal’s riddles).

In another life, was software developer for an ISV. Currently an IT Project Manager.

I chanced upon your blog while searching for some random information on google (Okay, I was looking for the term Bailwan Massage, if you really want to know, and the search engine, for some reason, directed me here). I am so glad I found it. It took me through a mundane 6hrs transit at LHR while travelling from Madras to Atlanta and I am still catching up with your older posts, Sri Latha.
I, like you, am from Madras (nope, will never be Chennai to me either), currently living in a little nook in the American south. As I sit here, nodding in agreement while I read your blog, I cannot help but admire your wonderful style of writing and narration.
I am so glad to meet you and hope you are having fun in sunny Florida! 🙂
